What is E-commerce?
E-commerce is the study of doing business electronically. This includes online marketing, online sales, and online communications. E-commerce includes businesses that operate solely online as well as businesses that simply have an online component. E-commerce students learn how to use marketing strategies and constantly changing technologies to improve business. This major is new and changes from year to year, so e-commerce students are always on the cutting edge.
