Radek, what jobs can you get with a biology degree? I’m wondering, what can I do with a biology degree?
Many employers in life science fields will expect a graduate degree, and many people who earn bachelors degrees in biology do go on to further study. Many go on to medical school, as an undergraduate biology degree makes a great foundation for a medical career.
But not all biology majors go on to graduate school. Some go to work in aquariums, botanical gardens, parks, and zoos, though there is often a lot of competition in these areas. Many go into biotechnology. Biology majors often make great science teachers, though this may require a few extra courses and certification. Some go to work in university labs. Others go to work in medical labs. Some find careers in food science. Some work for pharmaceutical companies. Some end up working for environmental organizations or agencies.
