Radek, what jobs can you get with a chemistry degree? I’m wondering, what can I do with a chemistry degree?
A degree in chemistry, just like in any science, can open many career doors. Chemistry majors can go into product or chemical manufacturing. Many end up working in the oil industry. They can also go into forensics, hazmat, environmental work, and water quality work. Some chemistry majors go to work in research laboratories, chemistry consulting firms, or quality control laboratories. Some go to work in hospital research labs, and some work in science museums. Some work in food science, and some work for cosmetic companies.
Chemistry majors also often make great science teachers, although this may take further study and certification. Many chemistry majors go onto graduate school, often medical school.
